Over the course of 14 months, we worked with HR, Change Management, Learning and Performance, Corporate Security, Audit and a number of other non-software departments to help them manage their work with Kanban. The funniest (or saddest?) story was when corporate security suggest a work ticket classification of “death threat” which apparently happened often enough to warrant it’s own work type.
