Gamification and Behaviour

We attempted to create a way to track behavioural changes and process adoption.  Jeff Anderson had presented this at LSSC 12 and had to fight off the tomatoes being thrown as people were appalled that we were measuring people!!

The intent was to give people a fun way to try new processes and practices by using character sheets.  Outside of the coaching team, no one used these and we abandoned it after a few months.  It was a cool idea but later I’d talk to 2 different organizations that tried skill matrixes and similar things without success.

For me, it was too complex so I worked on evolving this into a simpler system for self-evaluation based on the Dreyfuss Learning model but it didn’t fly either.
